I was diagnosed with diabetes over 10 years ago. At the time of my diagnosis I was provided a glucometer, complete with it's plain black case. When I realized that, in order to keep good control of my blood sugar I would be carrying my meter with me everywhere I go, I began searching for a glucometer case that was more stylish than basic "medical black".
Several years of searching resulted in finding few cases offered and those available were either too expensive or poorly constructed. I finally realized the need to develop my own designs, for myself, and for the millions of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics who find themselves carrying their meter everyday, everywhere.
